This policy explains what we collect when you use campusx, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
campusx is an independent admissions advisory service for students applying to universities overseas and to business schools in India. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 we act as a Data Fiduciary. You can reach us at [email protected].
Only what you type into our enquiry form:
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not buy data about you from anyone else, and we do not build a profile of you from your browsing.
To evaluate your profile and contact you about your application. That is the only purpose. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with universities, agents or anyone else without asking you first.
We ask you to tick a consent box before you submit the form, and we record the time you gave it. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected].
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.
Your details are held in a database on our hosting provider's servers, protected by access credentials held only by us. Access is limited to the counsellors who need it to respond to you.
Under the DPDP Act 2023 you may:
Email [email protected] for any of these. We respond within 30 days.
Complaints about how your personal data has been handled should go to [email protected] with "Data grievance" in the subject line.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and some photographs from Unsplash, both of which will see your IP address as part of serving those files. Our AI study advisor, when enabled, sends the text of your questions to Google's Gemini service to generate an answer. It is not given your contact details.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
